Alpine Sky Golden Retrievers is a small family-oriented breeder located in Raleigh, NC. Our adoration for English Cream Golden Retrievers began having an earnest visit a great pet dog. We needed a puppy that was kid-friendly and trainable, having a calm, gentle temperament therefore we began searching for breeds that had characteristics compatible with our lifestyle.

Because we love hiking, lake and beach time, we wanted a dog that loved water and use. It has also been key how the dog ‘t be a barker because we do business from home. After much research, we settled on the English Cream Golden Retrievers, which has been an ideal fit for us.

We sought out months to get a quality male from a responsible small family breeder, last but not least found him. In 2008, we fell completely deeply in love with our first boy, Kozmo, along with his gentle, sweet nature and happy go lucky attitude. He loves everyone, especially children, and we were immediately enthusiastic about the breed. We added Holly to the family and, in 2014, our extended dog family began to form with our first litter planning to carefully selected friends and family.

After witnessing the enrichment of numerous lives, i was motivated to continue sharing our special dogs with an increase of families plus the broader community.

Leveraging their gentle and sweet temperaments, we began certifying a lot of our own dogs as Therapy Dogs. It has been a satisfying experience for our family, the dogs, as well as the individuals finding the comfort and joy our dogs share with everyone.

We continue our focus on dogs best-suited being loving family members and hopefully future therapy dogs.
