A computer’s software refers to a program (or a group of programs) which give a computer instructions on what to do and how to work. Software programs can provide one main process, or multiple principal tasks.
As an example, a system designed to edit digital camera photographs has one key task (i.e. to allow for editing of photos) – naturally it could have numerous sub-tasks though (i.e. red eyesight removal, color modification features, resizing and cropping/cutting of your image).

Antivirus Software – this type of software helps shield your computer system versus malicious threats for example viruses and adware and spyware. Examples include Norton Antivirus, Kaspersky Anti-virus and AVG Anti-virus.
Photo Croping and editing – this type of software can be used to modify and manipulate pictures and other digital photos in various ways. For example Paint.net, Corel PaintShop Professional and Adobe Photoshop.
Systems Software
Such a software is quite accurately identified as being at the very core of any computer system. With no systems software, a computer could not actually function. In short, it manages every aspect of a pc – from how the equipment interacts with the software (‘drivers’) for you to giving the user a great interface and platform to interact with the method (‘operating system’). The operating system – as well as ‘OS’ – is the software that a lot up after your pc is switched on. It’s where all application software is a component of. Examples of an Computer itself include Microsoft Windows (Exp, Vista, 7 and so forth), Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Apple Mac OS X.
