Greg Kritikos was always going to be a beloved comedic superstar. This gritty, street-wise, reformed gangster has become compared to Jackie Gleason for his heart and appeal. And now he could be the starring role in the feature comedy CHARLIE BOY, which Kritikos co-wrote with Frederick Stroppel and which features Kelly Le Brock as Donna and Burt Young as Luca.
CHARLIE BOY, based loosely on Greg Kritikos’ true to life, follows the story of straight and sober recovering mobster Charlie Borakos. Charlie now functions as a standup comedian and, after many years of recovery and giving to his beloved community of Astoria, Queens New York, he or she is still burdened through the guilt of his son’s death and friend’s maiming on account of his drinking, drugging and negligence from the past. So when colleague Tommy G’s gambling problem surfaces for the extreme and his prior mob boss Big Angie moves back in town, Charlie’s benevolent and save-the-day attitude and knack for doing all he is able to to help you others and switch misfortune into laughter, saves the afternoon and catapults Charlie to another level of enlightenment.

We’ve worked on this business for several years i have not read a real perfectly balanced and honest comedy. I needed to choose this movie.
