On June 18, 2012, Microsoft announced its just about the most awaited products, Surface, a pc tablet. Microsoft Surface was earlier deemed becoming a multi-touch based NUI device but Microsoft renamed we’ve got the technology to PixelSense and named its pc tablet to come to light. These days will be launched in two variants namely Surface and Surface Pro. Surface will be the basic version which runs using Windows RT and uses Nvidia Tegra ARM CPU while Surface Pro is advanced version running on Windows 8 Pro using Intel “Ivy Bridge” Core i5 quad core chip, quiet similar to the processors of everyday laptops. Surface will come in 32GB and 64 GB capacities while Pro will come in 64GB and 128GB capacities. Both devices support Micro SD for expanded memory and USB for universal connectivity.
Surface will probably be to the next stage of microsoft tablet computing as it adds a very light and thin keyboard this behaves as a cover for your device. The keyboard might be linked to the tablet with a magnetic strip and removed easily if not required. The QWERTY keyboard provides and enhanced user experience while working on these devices. The attached kickstand makes the device stand erect and stay used as a laptop screen.
These devices comes studded having a front along with a rear-facing camera. The back facing camera is angled at 22 degrees to make sure that your camera takes right image when the kickstand is being used.
Both variants in the tablet possess a screen size of 10.6 inches. The screen offers an efficient HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio. The pro version will have a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 whilst the RT version will have a HD resolution of 1366×768. The display is capable of adjusting screen intensity automatically while keeping ultra-wide viewing angle for better adaptability.
Microsoft claims the outer lining tablets to get highly strong as they are encased in a durable molded magnesium casing, also known as VaporMg. VaporMg not merely provides strength towards the device and also helps reducing the overall weight in the device, rendering it light and easy to transport.
