A fresh 2016 Christmas rock-POP tune has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key purpose of getting awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day website .
The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks is a special up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo guide since then looking forward to the opportunity to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used local session players to record the music durring a six week period. The songs contains 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States because of Mark wanted the very best outcome and quality. The song is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day website as we can and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be kind enough to give to 1 or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
One other definitive goal is to be able enough downloads of the track to help fund and create a Phuket live music club with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll provide free classes and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ is not open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to advertise his song Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous ways to help including a Phuket Hotel and budget flights to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
