2016 Christmas Rock-POP music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Christmas rock n roll tune has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main aim of providing awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket website .

The tracks title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs genre is a special up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then waiting for the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used local session players to record the music over a 6 week period. The track consists of 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the USA due to Mark wanted the most effective result and quality. The track is currently ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main goal of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site that we can and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be kind enough to donate to at least one or every one of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the track.
Another main goal is to get enough downloads of the music to help fund and setup a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, which will provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open yet but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his song Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous methods to greatly help including a Phuket Accommodation and cheap flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every cent helps.
