The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs sound is a special up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then awaiting the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used session players to record the tune over a six week period. The songs consists of 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the USA because of Mark wanted the most effective outcome and quality. The music is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key purpose of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day site that we can and then we hope in-turn they’ll be kind enough to contribute to one or all the Phuket charities, and to also buy the track.
One other main goal is to be able enough downloads of the song to help fund and set up a Phuket live music pub with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll present free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local colleges and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to advertise his tune Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to greatly help including a Thailand Villa and cheap flights to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
